KAHAWITA DE SILVA & ASSOCIATES (PVT) LTD (KDS) was established in 1979 as a Partnership based in Colombo. It expanded into a fast growing Company and a Subsidiary; URBAN PLANNING CONSULTANTS was registered as a Planning & Landscape Architectural Practice in 1982. In 1984 the Partnership was converted to a Private Limited Liability Company conforming to the guidelines set out by the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects.
